According to Apple Daily in Taiwan, Lenovo met HTC in Aug this year to discuss about cooperation realized by joint venture or stock-for-stock, but brand of HTC still remained. And that cooperation solution would be completed in the first half of 2014.
Lenovo ranks No.4 in smartphone market share with 4.74% in globe, and ranks No.2 with 12%, lower than Samsung and Apple. Actually HTC president said that HTC gonna would reach 20% of Chinese top smartphone market share in 2014, which may hint the cooperation with Lenovo.
